FREE Museum Day

In the spirit of Smithsonian Museums, which offer free admission every day, other museums have teamed up with the Smithsonian to offer free admission on September 27th, 2014.

 

Mark your calendar's everyone, and visit Smithsonian's Web Site for free admission to a museum near you.

Free Admission on Martin Luther King Jr. Day

During the weekend of January 18th - January 20th, 2014, National Parks across the United States will be offering free admission.

Check with museums and state parks near your destination or home town for the weekend.  Some are offering free admission on Monday, January 20th, 2014, as well!

Free Museum Day

"In the spirit of Smithsonian Museums, who offer free admission everyday, Museum Day Live! is an annual event hosted by Smithsonian magazine in which participating museums across the country open their doors to anyone presenting a Museum Day Ticket....for free."

This year's free museum day will be held on September 28th, 2013.

So mark your calendar today, and check the Smithsonian Magazine web site for museums in your area that will be participating.
